She is also Reiki 1 and Sound Therapy trained. She thrives on finding modifications for all poses. Laura brings a playful and inclusive spirit to each of her classes.

Amie Appling
CYT 200

Amie began her yoga journey in 1975, doing headstands next to her mother who was unknowingly passing down a future love for asanas. Fast forward to 2009 when she completed her 200 hour yoga training with Dr. Paul Jerard. As an avid runner and former athlete, she was immediately drawn to the physical and mental challenge yoga presents. Through connection of mind, body and spirit she realized her practice would be a lifelong journey. Her classes are challenging, yet carefully sequenced, blended with her love of music and pleasing to all levels. She aims to create a playful enviornment where students are encouraged to explore their practice and deepen their connection to themselves. Outside of the studio you can find her hiking, tending her hobby farm and traveling with her family.

Heather's yoga journey began in 2004 with a power class that changed her life. That first step onto the mat revealed insights about herself and the world around her. She discovered her intuition and healing, which are now essential to every class she teaches. Heather believes that deep inside, we all know what we need - which is why she incorporates a variety of styles in her practice as well as her teaching.

Yoga - Medina: List

This yoga flow blends movement with breath. You will move through vinyasa sequences that promote grounding, build strength and flexibility and encourage mindfulness. Each teacher brings their own creativity and inspiration to class, for a truly unique experience every time you step onto your mat. This class is suitable for all levels of practice.

Allow the body to surrender through slow, mindful movement and breath work. The pace of this class is meditative, promoting peace and calm in the body and mind. We hold poses longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose, instead of moving to each breath. This class is suitable for all levels of practice.

An invigorating vinyasa flow where you will be guided through a series of poses to increase strength and stamina. This class is best for those with some yoga experience, however modifications will be offered to accommodate everyone. You will leave feeling strong, empowered, and uplifted. Get ready to sweat!

This class is thoughtfully sequenced, focusing on relaxation and restoration with the use of props. Mindfully moving at a slower pace, we allow the body and mind to surrender into a peaceful and calming state. This class is suitable for all levels of practice.

Yin + Restorative

This hybrid, slow paced, meditative class brings together the long holds and deep breaths of Yin and thoughtfully transitions the student to a more supported and relaxed state of mind. Poses are held in a seated or reclined position, with the muscles fully relaxed, allowing time and gravity to deepen the stretch and the mind to surrender.

This slow-paced, meditative practice incorporates long holds and deep breaths. Poses are held in a seated or reclined position, with the muscles fully relaxed, allowing time and gravity to deepen the stretch and target the connective tissues of the body. This class is suitable for all levels of practice.

Gentle Flow

Experience a class composed of gentle movement, breath work and relaxation. Enjoy a longer warm-up expanding into mindful movement accessible to all. Practice  tapers off with longer-held poses that prepare the body for rest. All levels are welcome.

This class offers special populations all the benefits of yoga without the worry of getting up and down off the floor. Props, including chairs are used, as needed to adapt the movements and poses to an accessible and safe level for beginners, seniors, mobility-impaired or larger bodied students. Breathe, move, stretch, find a peaceful, yet empowering energy derived from the principle of “honoring your body” where it is at the present moment.
